It was business as usual yesterday, as the House of Representatives held her plenary, presided over by the Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila.
Businesses of the day were embarked on, and at the end of the plenary, successes were recorded.
Shortly after the plenary, a committee meeting was held with a public hearing, by the House Committee on Police Affairs, where issues on the security of the nation were discussed. The meeting had in attendance, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, Hon. Taiwo Oluga, member representing Ayedaade/Irewole/Isokan Federal Constituency, other Rep. members who are part of the committee, and the representatives from the Nigerian Police Force.
Later in the day, a dinner was held at the residence of the United States Deputy Chief of Mission, Kathleen FitzGibbon, who requested the company of Hon. Taiwo Oluga and other Reps. members, with some Senators of the Federal Republic of Nigeria including the wife of the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Senator Oluremi Tinubu.
