Oluga Condemns Police Recklessness In Iwo

“Women are to be respected and be given a topmost fair hearing irrespective of what transpired during argument – Hon. Taiwo Oluga”.

The honourable representing Ayedaade/Irewole/Isokan Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives has condemned in totality, the brutalization of a woman by some Police Officers in Iwo, State of Osun yesterday.

She made this known this evening via one of her media aides, where she expressed the absurdity of the event.

It will be recalled that a video went viral yesterday where a woman was assaulted by some police Officers for daring to flout the lockdown rules. Her explanation that she was on her way to get drugs for her children met deaf ears of the police men who descended on her with canes.

The Chairperson, House Committee on Women in Parliament therefore urges the Commissioner of Police in the State of Osun, CP Johnson Kokumo to swing into action in bringing the culprits to book, so as not to tarnish the golden image of the Nigerian Police Force in Osun.
